Community Night: We hope you’ll join us at 6pm this Sunday, March 29th, for Community Night worship, hangout time, and dinner. Leah Wooden will share her testimony. We’ll serve up fried chicken; please bring a side dish to share (no need to sign up).
College Lunch: It’s lunch time again! Students, you’re invited to stay after worship this Sunday, Apr. 29th, for lunch and a panel discussion by professionals in the church about how they serve God in their vocations.
Memorial Easter Lilies: We invite you to purchase Easter lilies in memory or in honor of a loved one to decorate our Sanctuary on Easter. Please order at the Welcome Center or online by Apr. 1st.
Hospitality Help: Would you be willing to help with preparing, serving, or cleaning up the coffee and refreshments on Easter Sunday? Please sign up at the Welcome Center or online.
Holy Week
- The Path to the Empty Tomb: Come early on Good Friday anytime 6:30-7:30pm to walk an artistic representation of five of Jesus’ last moments of life on earth, created by our 4th-5th graders. Guides for prayer, Scripture reading, and reflection will be available.
- Good Friday service: April 3rd, 7:30pm. Childcare will be available for toddlers through Pre-K. A cry room will also be available.
- Easter worship: April 5th, identical services at 9:15 and 10:30am. Childcare will be available for infants through Pre-K, but elementary, youth, and adult programs will not meet.
- Library: Stop by the church library to browse through our large selection of books, both for adults and children, about Christ’s last days on earth, death, and Resurrection as you and your family prepare for Good Friday and Easter.
A Night with the Son: Wednesday, Apr. 8th, at 8pm. IU’s College Ministries present A Night With the Son, a Jesus-centered worship night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall to share the gospel and promote campus ministries. More info and tickets are available at nightwiththeson.org.
6K for Water Walk/Run/Roll: Your participation in the Southern Indiana 6K for Water on Saturday, May 16th, will help World Vision provide communities in the developing world with access to clean water. Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Thursday, April 2, at 1:30PM. During this Holy Week, Bob Yount will guide us to consider a question from the traditional Seder: “How is this night different from all the others?” It is a simple question, carrying significance not only for the Jews but also for followers of Jesus. One question in four parts connecting Passsover to our own restoration. Communion will be served.
Adult Community Groups (ACGs): ACGs are mid-sized communities that meet Sunday mornings at 9:15am and cover various topics. Take a look at the ACG page to learn more. You’re welcome to attend a group at any time!
