There are several important aspects of adult ministries at Christ Community, each designed to foster spiritual community and growth.
Adult Community Groups
As part of the larger church, Adult Community Groups are mid-sized communities of Christ-followers committed to receiving, equipping, and sending disciples into the world. ACGs provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, enjoy fellowship, and learn in community. During the school year, we offer two Sunday morning ACGs at 9:15am: Koinonia (men and women), and a Women’s ACG. Here is a list of all the planned topics.
Faith and Life Seminars
Faith and life seminars are a new initiative at Christ Community Church designed to provide short-term classes and workshops on practical topics related to Christian faith and living. Each series is stand-alone, with new teachers, coordinators, and attendees. Check the digital bulletin for current seminars. If you have suggestions on topics you would like to see at a seminar, please let Pastor Dan or Pastor Bob know.
Small Groups
We say often, “community is our middle name.” One of the best places to experience community is in a small group, so we encourage everyone to join one of our many small groups. The focus of these groups is Bible study, prayer, and care for one another. There are dozens of groups at Christ Community, many of them open to new people joining at any time. Senior Adult Ministry (SAM)
As a part of the church, SAM seeks to provide a place of community where senior adults can experience the redeeming grace and transforming truth of Jesus Christ through fellowship, worship, the study of God’s word, and service. SAM meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month; join us in the Gathering Space from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. The group takes a break over the summer from regular meetings but enjoys outings, picnics, and the like. For the current schedule or more information, contact us using the form below. Women's Ministry
The Women’s Ministry at Christ Community seeks to foster spiritual growth and build community that is welcoming to all the women of the church. To this end, we offer Bible studies, small groups, fellowship events, and more. Special events for women will be publicized on Sunday mornings and the church website. Men's Ministry
The men at Christ Community Church enjoy getting together for cookouts, bonfires, the occasional sporting event, dinners with speakers, and more. Events will be well publicized in the bulletin and church announcements.
