Community Night: Come Sunday, Oct. 30th at 6pm for music with the youth band and a short devotional.

Missions Focus: We’re highlighting the CCC Missions program and missionaries during our annual fall focus and pledge drive. Please consider pledging to give to CCC Missions in 2023 using our online pledge form. The Missions budget is supported entirely by your designated giving; no funding comes from the CCC General Budget. 2022 Missions budget: $95,836; 2023 pledges to-date: $16,900. Please pledge by Nov. 13th.

Matthew Smith in Concert: On Nov. 6th, come hear Matthew Smith at CCC! Matthew is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who writes brand new melodies to centuries-old hymn texts, helping guide people into emotionally honest worship. Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased in the church office or at cccbloomington.org/matthewsmith. Children and students attend for free!

Surviving the Holidays: If you are facing the holiday season without a loved one, you are invited to a special one-session offering of GriefShare focused on Surviving the Holidays: Wednesday, Nov. 16th, 6-8pm in Rm. 17. It is not necessary to have attended the weekly GriefShare group to attend this session.  For more info, contact Fayetta Coulter via the church office.

Faith+Art Book Club: Talking about faith and art over tea in a bookshop with friends —what could be lovelier? Join us monthly at 7pm at Morgenstern Books. We’ll explore the intersection of faith and art through captivating stories in both fiction and nonfiction. Our first title is Gilead by Marilynne Robinson. Our first meeting will be Jan. 23rd at 7pm. Learn more from the informational flyer and sign up at the Welcome Center.

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Nov. 3rd at 1:30pm: “Avoiding Scams”. Doug Kayser and Steve Wooden will share insights regarding the 10 most popular scams. This will be informal and attendees will be encouraged to share their experiences concerning scams and how they were resolved.

Meet Needs Within Our Church Family: Bring hope and help to people in our church family who are experiencing difficulties–be part of a pool of volunteers that the Deacons can call upon if needed. Please check out the Care Ministry Volunteer Opportunities survey to see the areas of need and let us know how you might help.

October Energy Action: Welcome, fall! It’s time to start thinking about how to stay warm as the temperature drops. This month, our task is to consider how to insulate your attic or if there is enough insulation to keep your heat in the home and not going out the roof. Check out the October energy action sheet for some helpful information and even some do-it-yourself instructions.

Small Groups: Interested in joining a small group? Check out the list of open groups!

Adult Community Groups (ACGs) meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are mid-sized learning communities. Check out the current topics on the ACG page and join a group!
