6K for Water Walk/Run/Roll: Your participation in the Southern Indiana 6K for Water on Saturday, May 16th, will help World Vision provide communities in the developing world with access to clean water. Go to southernindiana6k.com to learn more, register, or donate.  (Be sure to select team “Southern Indiana 6K Walk/Run for Water”.) Through May 10th, you can use promo code EMPOWERMOMS for $10 off your registration.

Could you help at the 6K? We’re getting desperate for volunteers. Please check out southernindiana6k.com to see the list of opportunities to serve.

Interested in Going Further? If you are interested in going beyond the 6K for Water in terms of your athletic training and giving others access to clean water, we invite you to mark your calendar and attend an info meeting after worship on May 17th about walking or running the 2026 Indianapolis Monumental Marathon or Half Marathon on Nov. 7th with Team World Vision.

Serve at Camp: Serving at camp (May 26-June 5) is a great way to get to know more people in our congregation while filling a need. Volunteer with a friend or bring your small group! To sign up, please visit the camp SignupGenius page.

Red Cross Blood Drive: Help serve our community by donating blood for hospital patients in need. Join Christ Community Church to give blood on May 13, 2026, 1-6pm. Your donation can help save more than one life! To make an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS. *Please note, there are two Christ Community Churches listed. Make sure you choose the right one!

Furniture Give-Away (FGA) 2026: The annual Bloomington International Student Ministries’ Furniture Give-Away would gladly take donations of good-condition furniture and household goods. Volunteers are also needed to help with donation acceptance and/or pickup. Please visit myfga.org to learn what items are accepted, schedule a furniture pickup, or volunteer.  (Stay tuned for info on donating household goods to CCC’s FGA day; we are not ready to accept these yet.)

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): We are excited to visit T.C. Steele State Historic Site in Brown County on Thursday, May 7th, to tour this famous Hoosier Impressionist painter’s home and art studio.  The gardens should also be beautiful. We will meet at CCC at noon to carpool.  Cost is $10.00 for seniors; veterans are free.  It is imperative that you sign up by calling Kaye or Doug Kayser by Tuesday.  If you don’t have their numbers, please contact the church office.

CCC T-Shirts: CCC shirts are again available to order! You can choose your sizes and pay for your shirts at christcommunitychurch.itemorder.com/shop/home.  This time, there are green and blue options. Ladies, Taco Bingo shirts are also available!  Shirts can be shipped or picked up locally at FreeThink (720 S. Morton St.).

Adult Community Groups (ACGs): ACGs are mid-sized communities that meet Sunday mornings at 9:15am and cover various topics. Take a look at the ACG page to learn more. You’re welcome to attend a group at any time!

GriefShare: GriefShare meets 6-8pm in Rm. 17 every Wednesday, through May 13th. You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions. For more info or to sign up, go to griefshare.org/groups/289079.
