Fall Break Schedule: On Sunday, Oct. 15th, our ACGs, elementary, middle school, and a.m. high school programs will be on fall break. Programs will resume Oct. 22nd.
Church Survey: In preparation for an upcoming meeting, church leadership is seeking feedback from the congregation. Please complete this brief survey.
Community Night: Come at 6pm on Sunday, Oct. 22nd, for music and a short devotional thought followed by fellowship over a meal!
Baptisms: If you are interested in talking with a pastor about being baptized on Sunday, Oct. 22nd, please contact the church office to schedule a meeting.
Highlight on Missions: This month you’ll hear some brief updates from local CCC-supported missionaries. This is also the time of our missions budget pledge drive, and we ask for your support in continuing to fund the CCC Missions program. The Missions budget is funded entirely by your specially designated donations; NO funding comes from the church’s general budget. Please prayerfully fill out a pledge card this October to give to CCC Missions in 2024.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): SAM is pleased to welcome Randy Ollis as our speaker on Thursday, Oct. 19th at 1:30pm in the Gathering Space. He will share his life story, “Weathering the Storms Of Life”. Randy just retired after 37 years as a WISH-TV meteorologist and TV personality in Indianapolis. He has managed to get the weather right and do it in an entertaining style all these years.
Happy Fall! Have some fall fun at the Pumpkin Trail at church on Sunday, Oct. 29th! Helping hands are needed that afternoon to set up a pumpkin patch and to hand out treats to the kids. Adults are encouraged (but not required) to wear costumes! Sign up to help
New Adult Community Group Topics: Sunday morning ACGs will begin new topics on Oct. 22nd. Check out the current groups and join anytime!
Membership Class: If you would like to know more about becoming a member of CCC, please contact the church office and also let us know if you could attend a class at 6pm on Sunday, Nov. 5th.
Elementary Kids’ Choir: Kids’ Choir meets at 6:30-7pm on Wednesday nights. All elementary kids are welcome! For more information, contact Meredith Chupp or the church office.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group meets in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, Aug. 16 – Nov. 8th. Come anytime or every time. Go to GriefShare.org/groups/168659 to sign up.
