BTown Worship Night: Join us and others in our community for a Night of Worship on Sunday, Sept. 24th, 6-8pm. Along with several area churches, we will gather at the amphitheater at Switchyard Park for worship! Food trucks starting at 4:00pm.
Visiting Missionary: We’ll hear from one of our CCC-sponsored missionaries during worship on Oct. 1st. You’re also invited to stay afterwards for lunch to learn more about her ministry to native peoples in the Pacific Northwest. Please contact Lynne with a head count if you plan to attend the lunch.
Baptisms: If you are interested in talking with a pastor about being baptized, please contact the church office to schedule a meeting. Baptisms have been scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 22nd.
Membership Class: We are assessing interest in a fall membership class. If you would like to know more about becoming a member of CCC, please contact the church office and also let us know if you could attend a class at 6pm on Sunday, Nov. 5th.
Baked Goods for Cru: Help us give the college students of Cru campus ministry a taste of home! Sign up to provide baked goods and snacks for IU Cru’s fall retreat using our online form or at the Welcome Center. Please bring your goodies to the church no later than noon on Friday, Sept. 29th.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): On Thursday, Sept. 28th, at 1:30pm, join our own Patty Robertson and her
fellow Limestone Symposium members to learn about the unique limestone deposit that surrounds us. They will teach us, demonstrate their skills, and allow you to try your own hand at sculpting!
Care Ministry Volunteer Opportunities: Bring hope and help to people in our church family who are experiencing difficulties–be part of a pool of volunteers the Deacons can call upon if needed. Please fill out a Care Ministry Volunteer Opportunities Survey to let us know how you can help.
Elementary Kids’ Choir: Kids’ Choir meets at 6:30-7pm on Wednesday nights. All elementary kids are welcome! For more information, contact Meredith Chupp or the church office.
Adult Community Groups (ACGs) meet during the school year on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are mid-sized learning communities. Check out the current topics on the ACG page and join a group anytime!
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group meets in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, Aug. 16 – Nov. 8th. Come anytime or every time. Go to GriefShare.org/groups/168659 to sign up.
