Missions Focus: Our missions pledge drive is wrapping up–please consider pledging now to give to CCC Missions in 2023 using our online pledge form. The Missions budget is supported entirely by your designated giving; no funding comes from the CCC General Budget. 2022 Missions budget: $95,836; 2023 pledges to-date: $66,760. Please pledge by Monday, Nov. 14th.

Community Night: Our next and last Community Night of the semester will be at 6pm on Sunday, Nov. 13th. We will share a meal together after worshipping with music and scripture readings. Would you be willing to provide an element of the meal? Please use our Community Night meal signup form.

Join the Christmas Choir: If you’re interested in singing with the CCC Choir but can’t make the weekly rehearsals throughout the year, the Christmas cantata on Dec. 11th presents a wonderful opportunity to join for a shorter period of time. Contact Brian Horne via our online form and plan to attend the cantata rehearsals:

Surviving the Holidays: If you are facing the holiday season without a loved one, you are invited to a special one-session offering of GriefShare focused on Surviving the Holidays: Wednesday, Nov. 16th, 6-8pm in Rm. 17. It is not necessary to have attended the weekly GriefShare group to attend this session.  For more info, contact Fayetta Coulter via the church office.

Church Decorating: Join us to decorate the church for Christmas after worship on Sunday, Nov. 20th–fun for the whole family! Lunch will be provided; please contact the church office to sign up so we know how much food to prepare.

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): SAM is “Getting Ready for Christmas”. Come and join us Thursday, Nov. 17th, at 1:30pm to make a new centerpiece for your table, prepare a tasty treat, and learn a game or two to enjoy with family members.

CCC Women’s Event: Saturday, Dec. 3rd, at 2pm. Come and enjoy Christmas-themed games, crafting, and delicious charcuterie while fellowshipping with other CCC ladies. Sign up at the Welcome Center today.

November Energy Action: It’s time to begin pulling out quilts and sweaters in preparation for the cold days ahead. This month we are focused on trying to keep the thermostat low in order to save energy (and money!) The November Energy Action Sheet has helpful tips for easing into a lower temperature setting and ideas for low-energy heating options.

Faith+Art Book Club: Talking about faith and art over tea in a bookshop with friends —what could be lovelier? Join us monthly at 7pm at Morgenstern Books. We’ll explore the intersection of faith and art through captivating stories in both fiction and nonfiction. Our first title is Gilead by Marilynne Robinson. Our first meeting will be Jan. 23rd at 7pm. Learn more from the informational flyer and sign up at the Welcome Center.

Adult Community Groups (ACGs) meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are mid-sized learning communities. Check out the current topics on the ACG page and join a group!
