Good Friday: Path to the Empty Tomb:  Before or after the Apr. 15th Good Friday service (starting at 6:30pm) take a few minutes to prayerfully walk through the final moments of Jesus’ time on Earth using this artistic reflection created by CCC elementary students, located in the Gathering Space.

Good Friday service: At 7:30pm on Apr. 15th, gather with our church family to reflect on the deep love of Jesus and the sacrifice that he made for us. If weather permits, we will end the service by gathering outside around the cross.

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Thursday, Apr. 21st:  Meet at Garden Villa Nursing Home (1100 S. Curry Pike) at 4pm and help us encourage the residents!  There will be no regular SAM meeting beforehand.  Proof of vaccination is required by Garden Villa.  To participate, please contact Joy Stien at 812-325-9529. Encourage Nursing Home Residents: Starting on Thursday, April 21st (4pm), we will once again be able to be with the residents at Garden Villa Nursing Home for a monthly time of singing and ministry. Participants must have their Covid vaccination information on record at Garden Villa before visiting–contact Joy Stien or the church office if you’re interested in joining this outreach.

Energy Saving Task of the Month: Our April task is to eat less meat! Did you know that reducing the amount of meat you eat can have the same impact as not driving your car for 6 months? WOW! AND you can save up to $600 annually (depending on the size of your family) AND the doctors say it’s more heart healthy! It’s a win-win for you and creation! Please read the April action sheet to learn more and get some tips on alternatives to meat.

Southern Indiana 6K for Water: Did you know that 6 kilometers is the average distance people in the developing world walk for water each day? Sign up to walk or run the Southern Indiana 6K for Water on Saturday, May 21st, and you will be bringing life-changing, clean water to communities in need. Visit southernindiana6k.com to learn more and register. CCC Missions is helping to sponsor this event.
