Come purchase energy-saving items for your home–such as LED light bulbs, faucet aerators, low-flow shower heads, and laundry lines–to help conserve energy and your family’s budget!

Join Our Habitat Team! We are seeking 10-12 volunteers for our next Habitat for Humanity build on Saturday, April 9th, 8am-4pm. No experience is necessary! To join the team, use this signup form by Sunday, Apr. 3rd.

Rummage for Refuge: Shop Wheeler Mission’s rummage sale Apr. 7-9 at The Warehouse (1525 S. Rogers St.) in support of Wheeler’s community programs. Volunteers are needed for presorting, set-up/tear-down, as well as assistance each day of the sale.  See the sale flyer for hours and visit wheelermission.org/RummageforRefuge to check out the available volunteer shifts!

Energy Saving Task of the Month: Our April task is to eat less meat! Did you know that reducing the amount of meat you eat can have the same impact as not driving your car for 6 months? WOW! AND you can save up to $600 annually (depending on the size of your family) AND the doctors say it’s more heart healthy! It’s a win-win for you and creation! Please read the April action sheet to learn more and get some tips on alternatives to meat.  AND if you’d like to join us for this Zoom session on Wednesday, April 6 at 7pm, we can swap recipes too!

Tacos and Bingo: Ladies, you’re invited to a fun evening with dinner, Bingo, and prizes! Come join the merriment on Saturday, Apr. 9th, at 5:30pm! Please contact Amy Hendershott to sign up.

Purchase Memorial Easter Lilies: We invite you to purchase Easter lilies, which will decorate our Sanctuary on Easter Sunday. To order, go to cccbloomington.org/easter-lilies.

Hospitality Help: Would you be willing to help with the coffee and extra refreshments that we will offer on Easter Sunday, April 17th? Volunteers are needed for food prep, setup, and cleanup. To help, please sign up using our online form.

SAM (Senior Adult Ministry): We invite you to join us to explore the Easter story as we consider key verses from Scripture. See you at 1:30pm in the Gathering Space on Thursday, April 7th!

Good Friday Service: Friday, Apr. 15th, 7:30pm. In preparation for Easter, gather with our church family to reflect on the deep love of Jesus and the sacrifice that he made for us.

Encourage Nursing Home Residents: Starting on Thursday, April 21st (time TBD), we will once again be able to be with the residents at Garden Villa Nursing Home for a monthly time of singing and ministry. Contact Joy Stien or the church office if you’re interested in joining this outreach. Participants must be fully vaccinated and have their vaccination information on record at Garden Villa.

Southern Indiana 6K for Water: Did you know that 6 kilometers is the average distance people in the developing world walk for water each day? Sign up to walk or run the Southern Indiana 6K for Water on Saturday, May 21st, and you will be bringing life-changing, clean water to communities in need. Visit southernindiana6k.com to learn more and register. CCC Missions is helping to sponsor this event.
