Learn How to Save in December! Whether or not you completed the household energy use survey and Household Energy Conservation Covenant, you are welcome to attend a monthly series on how you can save energy…and money! The first meeting will take place in Rm. 18 on Sunday, Dec. 5th. Check out the December Energy Action Sheet!
Afghan Evacuee Relief: For our gift drive this year, we’re collecting winter clothing, hats, gloves, and scarves for all ages for the Afghan evacuees at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, IN. All items must be new. A list of items needed and a collection bin are located by the Welcome Center through Dec. 19th. Alternatively, to shop online and have items sent directly to Camp Atterbury, check out Team Rubicon’s Amazon wishlist.
Purchase Memorial Poinsettias We invite you to purchase ivory poinsettias which will decorate our Sanctuary during Advent. To order poinsettias, please pick up an envelope from the Welcome Center or use our online order form. Plants may be paid for by check, cash, or PayPal. Orders must be received by Wednesday, Dec. 15th.
Congregational Meeting: Our annual meeting for voting on the slate of 2022 officers and approval of the 2022 missions budget will take place after worship on Sunday, Dec. 12th, around 12:15pm. Members are encouraged to attend. Short bios on the prospective officers are available from the church office upon request.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) Join us for our Christmas Luncheon at noon on Thursday, Dec. 16! Also, we are now able to resume our outreach at Garden Villa Nursing Home—come with us to Garden Villa (1100 S. Curry Pike) at 4pm on Friday, Dec. 17, to share the love of Christ with the residents!
Christmas Eve Service Celebrate the birth of our Lord together with your church family at our special candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7:00pm.
Nursing Home Outreach: We are now able to resume our monthly outreach to Garden Villa Nursing Home (1100 S. Curry Pike), where we sing hymns with the residents and give a short devotional. Come share some Christmas cheer with the residents on Friday, Dec. 17th at 4pm.
