College Lunch: Before finals week hits, we invite you to come hang out after worship on Sunday, Dec. 7th, for a Christmas-themed lunch.
Hannah Center “Angel Tree”: Looking for ways to meet needs in our community this holiday season? We invite you to join CC Kids in giving some extra support to the Hannah Center, one of our CC Outreach partner organizations. You can take an ornament from the tree at the church’s main entrance and donate the item listed. Collection baskets are located under the tree.
Women’s Fellowship Event: Join us Saturday, Dec. 13th, 2-4 pm, for a women’s Christmas gathering filled with fun, fellowship, and all the season’s favorite things. All women 6th grade and older are invited. You can sign up at the Welcome Center or cccbloomington.org/womensevent.
Congregational Meeting: Members are encouraged to attend the annual December business meeting for the election of 2026 officers and approval of the 2026 Missions budget. The meeting will follow worship on Sunday, Dec. 14th. Copies of the slate of officers, biographical info on the candidates, and the Missions budget proposal are available at the Welcome Center.
Memorial Poinsettias: We invite you to purchase poinsettias in honor or in memory of loved ones, which will decorate our Sanctuary during Advent. Plants may be ordered at the Welcome Center or at cccbloomington.org/poinsettias.
Advent Reading Challenge: Stop by the library during this Advent season – join our Advent reading challenge (for both adults and children) and browse our large selection of Advent/Christmas devotionals, Christmas fiction, non-fiction, poetry and picture books for all ages! Take time away to curl up with a good book(s) this Advent season.
Christmas Eve: Come reflect on the wonder of Christmas at our special 6pm candlelight Christmas Eve service of Scripture readings, special musical performances, and a Christmas story. Childcare is not offered so that everyone can attend the service. Kids are welcome to come in their Christmas jammies!
Year-End Giving: Thank you for your faithful giving to ministry at CCC! As you prayerfully consider year-end offerings, please keep in mind the following dates if you wish to qualify for 2025 tax benefits:
- Checks must be dated and, if mailed, postmarked Dec. 31 or earlier.
- The church office will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 2.
- Online gifts must be completed in time to allow PayPal notification to be received by CCC before midnight on Dec. 31.
Adult Community Groups (ACGs): ACGs are mid-sized groups that meet on Sunday mornings. Take a look at the current topics and feel free to attend a group anytime.

BTown Worship Night: Join us and others in our community for a Night of Worship on Sunday, Sept. 28th, 6-8pm. Along with several area churches, we will gather at the amphitheater at Switchyard Park for worship. Food trucks will be onsite starting at 4:00pm.
Youth Parent Night: Parents and guardians of 6th-12 graders are invited to Parent Night on Sept. 21st, 6-8pm for food, games, and a message from Pastor Dan.
Keys for a Cause: CCC Kids invite you to Keys for a Cause on Sunday, October 5 at 3:30pm in the chapel. This is a kids’ performing arts recital and reading fundraiser for world missions. This year’s proceeds will go toward our overseas workers in North Africa, who kids are learning about in Underground. Please come and give as you are able!
Sing: The CCC choir is open to new members! If you have interest in joining this wonderful group, contact Brian Horne through our online form. Rehearsals take place weekly on Thursday evenings at 7pm.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A new group is meeting weekly on Wednesdays in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm. You can sign up at griefshare.org or contact the church office for more info.
