Hymns & Hotcakes: Come join us for our last Community Night of the school year at 6pm on Sunday, April 27th. Marietta Simpson will lead us in some hymns, and we will be ordaining two of our people for ministry. If you could contribute fruit, milk, juice, or eggs, please sign up.
College Lunch: Students, if you want to take a break and fuel up for finals week, you’re welcome to join us for lunch after worship on Sunday, May 4th.
Camp Needs:
Volunteers: Serving at camp is a great way to get to know more people in our congregation. Volunteer with a friend or bring your small group! To sign up, please visit our SignupGenius page.
Counselors: We are still in need of four high school boys who love the Lord to be counselors at Camp O, which is June 2-7 with training on June 1. Do you have a son, nephew, neighbor etc. who you think would do a great job of co-leading a group of elementary boys? Please reach out to Leah Wooden or Mindy Flick.
6K for Water: Join many from CCC in the 2025 Southern Indiana 6K for Water on May 17th as we raise funds to provide people in the developing world with access to clean water. Bring the family and run or walk–strollers are welcome! You can learn more, register, or donate at southernindiana6k.com.
Would you be willing to help CCC host this event? Volunteer signup is now available on SignupGenius!
Faith & Art Book Club: Join us as we explore the intersection of faith and art through captivating stories in both fiction and nonfiction. Our April title is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. The discussion will be hosted by Adrienne Garrison on Monday, Apr. 28th, at 7pm at her home. Learn more and RSVP by contacting Adrienne or the church office. See the 2024-25 schedule
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Join us at church at 1:30pm on Thursday, May 1st. Douglas Rife will return to take us on a “virtual” tour of Rose Hill Cemetery with a slide presentation of specific gravestones and discussions of individuals buried there. It will be taking a step back in time to hear the stories of those who lived and died from Monroe County.
Film Screening: Quest for Beauty Sunday, May 18th, 6pm at CCC. Quest for Beauty is a documentary on the life and prolific art career of William Schickel, who was a prominent 20th century Catholic artist. The film explores his Quest for Beauty, the challenges he faced, his vision for the Church, and his heart for unity in the Body of Christ. Learn more
Spring Cleaning Donations: Are you spring cleaning? The annual Bloomington International Student Ministries’ Furniture Give-Away would gladly take donations of your good-condition furniture and household goods. Volunteers are also needed to help with donation acceptance and/or pickup. Please visit myfga.org to learn what items are accepted, schedule a furniture pickup, or volunteer.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group meets 6-8pm every Wednesday, through May 7th. Join for any or all of the sessions! Visit griefshare.org for more info or to sign up.
Giving to Christ Community: Tithes and gifts can be given in the box at the back of the Sanctuary, by mail, or online at cccbloomington.org/giving.
