Holy Week

  • Good Friday service: April 18th, 7:30pm. Come early anytime 6:30-7:30pm to walk Path to the Empty Tomb, an artistic representation of five of Jesus’ last moments of life on earth, created by our 4th-5th graders. Printed guides for reflection will be available.
  • Easter worship: April 20th at both 9:15 and 10:30am. Adult Community Groups, elementary programs, and youth programs will not meet.
  • Sing with the Choir: If you’d like to sing with the choir on Good Friday and/or Easter, please contact Brian Horne or the church office.
  • Memorial Lilies: We invite you to purchase Easter lilies in memory or in honor of a loved one to decorate our Sanctuary on Easter. Please order at the Welcome Center or online by Apr. 16th.
  • Hospitality Help Would you be willing to help with preparing, serving, or cleaning up the coffee and refreshments on Easter Sunday? Please sign up at the Welcome Center or contact Patty Robertson.

Easter Books at CCC Library: Stop by the library and check out books about the days leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection. Kids, for every Easter book you check out, select an Easter egg from the basket with a surprise inside! Lots of great books for all ages to focus our hearts and minds as we journey to Jerusalem, the cross, and celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin and death.  

Hannah-Thon: We invite you to “Listen for Life” on Friday, April 11th, during The Hannah Center’s 6am to 6pm radio and live streaming event, Hannah-Thon 2025, on Spirit 95.1fm and spirit95.com. The Hannah Center is dedicated to meeting the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of women and families experiencing crisis pregnancies and early parenting challenges.

6K for Water: Join many from CCC in the 2025 Southern Indiana 6K for Water on May 17th as we raise funds to provide people in the developing world with access to clean water. Every $50 in registration fees or donations = clean water for one person, Bring the family and run or walk–strollers are welcome! You can learn more, register, or donate at southernindiana6k.com. College Lunch: Students, it’s that time again!  If you’d like some hangout time with pastors, profs, and peers, you’re welcome to stay after worship this Sunday, Apr. 6th, and join us for lunch.

Faith & Art Book Club: Join us as we explore the intersection of faith and art through captivating stories in both fiction and nonfiction. Our April title is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group meets 6-8pm every Wednesday, through May 7th. Join for any or all of the sessions! Visit griefshare.org for more info or to sign up. 

Giving to Christ Community: Tithes and gifts can be given in the box at the back of the Sanctuary, by mail, or online at cccbloomington.org/giving.

Adult Community Groups (ACGs): ACGs are mid-sized communities that meet Sunday mornings at 9:15am and cover various topics. Check out the current topics.
