Spring Break Schedule: On Sunday, March 10th & 17th, our Adult Community Groups, elementary programs, and youth programs will be on spring break. Worship will remain at 10:30am.
Holy Week:
- Good Friday service: March 29th, 7:30pm. Join us as we remember the death that brought life.
- Path to the Empty Tomb: Come anytime 6:30-7:30pm on Good Friday to walk this artistic representation of five of the last moments of Jesus’ life on earth, created by our 4th and 5th graders. Printed guides for prayer, Scripture reading, and reflection will be available.
- Easter worship: March 31st at both 9:15 and 10:30am. Adult Community Groups, elementary programs, and youth programs will not meet. Childcare for Pre-K and younger will be available during both services.
- Sing with the Choir: If you’d like to sing with the choir on Good Friday and/or Easter, please contact Brian. Rehearsals will be 8-8:30pm on Thursday, Mar. 21th; 7-8:30pm on Thursday, Mar. 28th; and 10am-noon on Saturday, Mar. 30th (for Easter only).
- Men’s Choir: If you’d like to sing with the men’s number (“And Can It Be”) for Good Friday, rehearsals will be 8:30-9pm on Thursday, Mar. 21st and 28th, plus 7pm (immediately before the service) on March 29th (Good Friday). Contact Brian to let him know you’re interested.
- Memorial Easter Lilies: We invite you to purchase Easter lilies in memory or in honor of a loved one, which will decorate our Sanctuary on Easter Sunday. Order lilies
- Help prepare and serve Easter refreshments; sign up at the Welcome Center or contact the church office.
Community Night: Gather with us at 6pm on Sunday, Mar. 24th, for “Hymns and Hotcakes” Community Night! Marietta Simpson will lead us in singing and we’ll enjoy breakfast for dinner. Please sign up to provide an element of the meal.
Camp Scholarships Needed: We have never turned away a camper because of cost—will you help us get every kid to camp this year? Scholarships of $185 and $285 are needed, but donations of any amount are appreciated. Give a scholarship
Easter Egg Hunt @The Warehouse: SAM (Senior Adult Ministry) invites you to bring lots of wrapped Easter candies to the church right up until our SAM meeting at 1:30pm on Mar. 21st, when we will fill plastic eggs. The Warehouse will host a Easter egg hunt on Mar. 30th for hundreds of kids and we want to fill hundreds of eggs! Drop off boxes are located at the church entrances and near the Welcome Center.
Membership Class: If you are interested in becoming a member of CCC, we invite you to attend the next membership class cycle that begins Sunday, Apr. 14th, at 6pm. For more info or to sign up, please sign up at the Welcome Center or contact Lynne in the church office.
Small Groups: We are working to gauge interest in and the possibility of launching some new small groups. If you are interested in joining a small group, please fill out our interest form. While we hope to be able to place everyone in a group quickly, it may take some time. We appreciate your patience.
CCC Library News: Kids, stop by the library to participate in the Journey With Jesus Reading Quest. Read the books displayed on the purple table and collect story stones for each book read. This quest will continue until Easter Sunday.
Adults, check out our new arrivals and our display of books on Spiritual Practices as we walk through Lent and prepare our hearts for Easter.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group will meet in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, through April 24th. You are welcome to join anytime! Go to griefshare.org/groups/177658 for more info or to sign up.

Adult Community Groups (ACGs): ACGs meet Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are open to all. Check out the current topics and join anytime.
