Church Security: In order to increase security at the church during our preschool hours, all exterior doors will now be locked 9:15am-12:15pm. For entry, please ring the new doorbell that has been installed at the canopy entrance.
Holiday Closure: The church will be closed Monday, Jan. 15th, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Community Night: Mark your calendars and plan to gather with us for Community Night at 6pm on Sunday, Jan. 28th. We’ll worship together and enjoy a potluck chili dinner! Please sign up to let us know if you could bring chili, bread/cornbread, or dessert. Community Night food signup
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Join us Thursday, Jan. 18th, at 1:30pm as Tricia Whitaker, daughter of Bob and Brenda Whitaker, shares her exciting life as a Fox Sports reporter with the MLB Tampa Bay Rays. We have the unique opportunity to hear about her life and work there while she is home for a few months in the winter.
Looking for something to do during these cold and gloomy days? How about a jigsaw puzzle? If you have puzzles you have enjoyed but won’t do again, BRING them with you. Puzzles will be available for the taking as long as they last.
Faith & Art Film Series: The Faith+Art Book Club is hosting a three-month film series here at the church, with pre-screening discussions and potluck dinners. Contact the church office to RSVP. Monday, Jan. 22nd, 6-9pm: The Hiding Place (2023) Corrie Ten Boom and her family risk everything to hide Jewish refugees by the hundreds, and they ultimately face the consequences when they are discovered.
Rest at the Wellspring: A Women’s Creative Retreat: Saturday, Jan. 27th, 9:30am-4pm at CCC. Enter the New Year renewed and unhindered as you lean into rest and creativity alongside other creative women of faith. Please pick up a flyer at the Welcome Desk to register and contact Adrienne Garrison or the church office with any questions.
