Congregational Meeting: Members are encouraged to attend the annual December business meeting for the election of 2024 officers and approval of the 2024 Missions budget. The meeting will follow worship on Sunday, Dec. 10th. Copies of the slate of officers and Missions budget are available at the Welcome Center. Short bios of the officer candidates are available in the church office.
BISM Christmas Party: Help us host the Bloomington International Student Ministries Christmas party at CCC, 5-8pm on Saturday, Dec. 16th! This fun event includes carols, a telling of the Christmas story, food, and mingling with International friends. Help is needed with transporting students, hosting tables, making desserts, and contributing door prizes. Contact Scott or Tracy Ketrow or the church office.
Advent Devotionals: You are invited to pick up a copy of our Advent devotional series for your family. The series was written by Bob Whitaker and Dan Waugh and designed by Cynthia Huggins. There is one devotional per week of Advent. Copies are available on the table outside the main doors to the Sanctuary.
CCC Library Advent Reading Challenge: Stop by the church library to learn more about our Advent reading challenge for both adults and children. Great books, craft kits, and other prizes. Check out our large selection of Christmas and Advent books. Something for everyone!
Memorial Poinsettias: We invite you to purchase poinsettias in honor or in memory of loved ones, which will decorate our Sanctuary during Advent. Plants may be ordered using our online order form or at the Welcome Center. Please order by Weds., Dec. 13th.
Christmas Eve: You are welcome to gather with us for morning worship at 10:30am and a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 6:00pm.
Year-End Giving: Thank you for your faithful giving to ministry at CCC! As you prayerfully consider year-end offerings, please keep in mind the following dates to qualify for 2023 tax benefits:
–Checks must be dated and, if mailed, postmarked Dec. 31 or earlier.
–The church office will be closed Dec. 21-Jan. 1.
–Online gifts must be completed in time to allow PayPal notification to be received by CCC before midnight on Dec. 31.
Adult Community Groups: ACGs meet Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are open to all. Check out the current groups and join anytime!
