College Lunch: Hey students, it’s time for another hangout! Join us after worship on Nov. 12th for a FREE lunch and the chance to fellowship with your peers and some IU professors in our congregation.
Thanksgiving Hospitality: A majority of international students in America would love to experience an American home but never get the opportunity. Would you make room at your Thanksgiving table for two or more internationals to experience this American tradition and the hospitality of a Christian home? Surviving the Holidays: Facing the holidays while grieving can feel like taking one step forward and two steps back. GriefShare’s Surviving the Holidays event will prepare you to navigate the season’s changes. Wednesday, Nov. 15th, 6-8pm in Rm. 17. Contact the church office for more info.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): On Thursday, Nov. 16 at 1:30pm SAM will contemplate gratitude with Dan Waugh. Come and enjoy the afternoon with our SAM community. Please bring a gift for Wheeler Mission. We are collecting disposable razors, shaving cream, deodorant (travel size), and twin-sized white sheet sets.
Dash 4 Shelter: Join others from CCC in walking or running this 5K (3.1 miles), which starts at Karst Farm Park at 10:30am on Saturday, Dec. 2nd. Your $30 entry fee will support the work of Wheeler Mission Bloomington. To register, go to https://runsignup.com/RaceGroups/152848 and select the CCC group. The Season of Advent—A Season of Hope (Women’s Event): Join the women of CCC in a safe and sacred space where you can explore the upcoming season of Advent and see what God might be inviting you to this year. Choose Your Best Night: Monday, Nov. 20 or Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6:30pm in the CCC Chapel. Reserve your spot
Community Night: Come spend some time with your church family at 6pm on Sunday, Nov. 26th. We know you may have just gotten back in town after Thanksgiving, so we’ll make it easy and provide the meal—just come and hang out! Worship will be Americana style (sorry, no lively hoedown) and we’ll keep warm with some tasty soups afterward.
