We still have a great need for a female volunteer to come alongside our middle school students on Wednesday evenings as they seek Christ and community. Contact Deonté Moses.

Community Night Kickoff: Food Trucks On Sunday, Aug. 27, 6-8pm in the church parking lot, we will have local food trucks on site for you to purchase your own dinner. Come, eat, hang out, play games, and visit! Invite friends! Please bring your own chair. College students, find Pastor Bob that evening for a discount on your meal.

College students, we’d love for you to stay after worship on Sept. 3rd and let us treat you to lunch! Come connect with friends, connect with some IU professors in our congregation, and learn more about getting connected in general at CCC.

Support Vulnerable Women: Sojourn House exists to defend, restore, and liberate women who have been exploited and trafficked. All proceeds from the Light Her Way 5k in Bloomington at 6pm on Sept. 8th will be put toward this purpose. Learn more or register

Wheeler Mission—Bloomington is running low on men’s underwear (all sizes, especially L and XL).  Donations are appreciated!  A collection bin is available at the CCC Welcome Center. Please donate by Sept. 3rd.

RESCHEDULED: Maternal Advocates Resource Alliance (MARA) is a Bloomington-based community coalition that aims to prevent maternal mortality and severe morbidity in South Central Indiana. Now scheduled for 1:30pm on Saturday, Sept. 16th, CCC will host a MARA Listens event for families who have had NICU experiences. If you have navigated a NICU with a child, you are invited to come and share. For more info, see the Facebook event page or contact Aimee Tuszynski.

Adult Community Groups (ACGs) meet during the school year on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are mid-sized learning communities. Check out the current topics on the ACG page and join a group!

Faith & Art Book Club: Meeting the 3rd Monday of the month at 7pm at Morgenstern Books. Join us as we explore the intersection of faith and art through captivating stories in both fiction and nonfiction. We’ll begin on Sept. 18th with Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group meets in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, Aug. 16 – Nov. 8th. Come anytime or every time. Go to GriefShare.org/groups/168659 to sign up.
