Serve Our Church Family: “It takes a village to raise a child,” and we need you in our kids’ village! With school year programs resuming Aug. 13th, several needs in our Children’s and Youth Ministry programs remain to be filled:
- Come alongside elementary kids as they learn to engage with God through worship during Underground, a service designed just for them. Contact Leah Wooden.
- Love on middle school students as they seek Christ and community. Contact Deonté Moses.
- Serve one hour a month in the early childhood (infant to Pre-K) rooms. Contact Mindy Flick.
Ministry Open Houses: On Sunday, Aug. 6th, come at 9:15am to hear what we’ve got planned for the next year! Join us for the Elementary Open House in the chapel and the Adult Community Groups Open House in the Gathering Space.
Youth Ministry Resumes: Middle school and high school programs kick off this Sunday, Aug. 6th, at 9:15am in the Fishack. Correction to the church-wide weekly email: The high school evening program resumes at 6pm on Sunday, Aug. 13th.
CCC Women: Interested in being a part of a new Bible study here at the church in 2023? Jennie Hession, Women’s Ministry Coordinator, is gauging interest for the new school year. Contact the church office.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group will meet in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, Aug. 16 – Nov. 8th. Come anytime or every time. Go to GriefShare.org/groups/168659 to sign up.
Office Help: We are looking to build a team of people to answer the phone and welcome walk-ins during staff meetings. If you have a couple of hours early on a Wednesday afternoon once a month and are willing to serve, please contact Lynne in the church office.
