Helpers needed: Due to recent births, moves, and illnesses, 7-8 volunteer slots have opened up in our Sunday morning infants-PreK rooms over the next couple of months. Could you help fill the need by taking a slot or two? Please send Mindy a note using our contact form.

Good Friday service: Join us at 7:30pm on Friday, Apr. 7th, for a special service of reflection on the only death that ever brought life.

Path to the Empty Tomb: Each year, our 4th & 5th graders create artwork representing five of the last moments of Jesus’ life here on earth. On Good Friday, this artwork will be on display with printed guides for prayer, Scripture reading, and reflection. The whole church is invited to walk this guided path at your leisure any time after 6:30pm leading up to and also following the service.

Easter Lilies: We invite you to purchase Easter lilies in memory or in honor of a loved one.  The lilies will decorate our Sanctuary on Easter Sunday. To order, fill out an envelope at the Welcome Center or go to cccbloomington.org/easter-lilies no later than Tuesday, Apr. 4th.

Easter Hospitality Help Needed: Would you be willing to help with preparing, serving, or cleaning up the coffee and extra refreshments that we will offer on Easter Sunday? Please sign up at the Welcome Center.

Women’s 2nd Annual Taco and Bingo Night: Saturday, April 15th, at 5pm. This event was such a hit last year, we’re doing it again! Join us for a taco bar and lively games of bingo with prizes, all with a fabulous bunch of ladies from church. Please sign up at the Welcome Center or contact Amy Hendershott to let her know you’re coming.

Membership Class: If you’re interested in learning about becoming a member of CCC, we invite you to attend the next membership class cycle on the Sunday mornings of Apr. 16-May 7. Please contact Lynne Snyder for more info or to sign up.

Helping Hands Needed: Come and fellowship while serving the church alongside others to spruce up the church grounds on Saturday, April 22nd. We’ll begin at 8:00am, but any amount of time you can give is helpful!  Tasks will include spreading mulch and light cleanup. Breakfast rolls and drinks will be provided. Please bring any pitchforks, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and gloves you may have.

HannahThon 2023: The Hannah Center is an organization dedicated to meeting the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of women and families experiencing crisis pregnancies and early parenting challenges. HannahThon is their annual fundraiser on Spirit 95.1 FM and spirit95.com; tune in 6am-6pm on Friday, Apr. 21st to donate and hear inspiring messages of how your help brings hope, healing, and change.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group meets in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, through May 3rd. Join anytime! Go to GriefShare.org/groups/158383 for more info or to sign up.

Seeking a Substitute Custodian: We are seeking a substitute custodian to fill in occasionally when Michael takes a vacation. If you are interested in learning more about this position, please contact the church office.
