Advent Devotionals: You are welcome to pick up a copy of our Advent devotional series, written by Bob Whitaker and Dan Waugh. There is one devotional per week of Advent. Copies are available in the Gathering Space.

Congregational Meeting: Members are encouraged to attend the annual December business meeting for the election of 2023 officers and approval of the 2023 Missions budget. The meeting will follow worship on Sunday, Dec. 11th. Copies of the slate of officers are available at the Welcome Center.

Advent Reading Challenge: Stop by the CCC library to learn more about our Advent reading challenge for both adults and children. Great books, craft kits and other prizes. Check out our large selection of Christmas and Advent books. Something for everyone!

Memorial Poinsettias: We invite you to purchase poinsettias in honor or in memory of loved ones, which will decorate our Sanctuary during Advent. Plants may be ordered using our online order form or at the Welcome Center. Please order by Weds., Dec. 14th.

College Student Lunch: Students, don your best ugly Christmas sweater and hang around after worship on Dec. 11th for lunch and a service project.

December Energy Action: As we enter this season of anticipation, we can help ease any stress with gift giving by encouraging you to buy less stuff! Please take a look at the December Energy Action Sheet for ideas and tips on what you can do to show others you’re thinking of them without buying more things. Buy your sibling a special date of time spent doing something fun together, or purchase a “gift” of chickens, goats, or education through World Vision, Heifer International, or Compassion International in honor of a loved one to benefit needy families in developing countries.

Faith+Art Book Club: Talking about faith and art over tea in a bookshop with friends —what could be lovelier? Join us monthly at 7pm at Morgenstern Books. We’ll explore the intersection of faith and art through captivating stories in both fiction and nonfiction. Our first title is Gilead by Marilynne Robinson. Our first meeting will be Jan. 23rd at 7pm. Learn more from the informational flyer and sign up at the Welcome Center.

Small Groups: Interested in joining a small group? Check out the list of open groups!

Adult Community Groups (ACGs) meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are mid-sized learning communities. Check out the current topics on the ACG page and join a group!
