Thanksgiving Schedule: This Sunday, Nov. 27th, our elementary, youth, and adult programs will break for Thanksgiving. Join us for worship at 10:30am; early childhood (infant-PreK) programs will be available.
Women’s Christmas Charcuterie Crafternoon: Saturday, Dec. 3rd, at 2pm. Women (middle school age and up), come enjoy Christmas-themed games, crafting, and delicious charcuterie while fellowshipping with other CCC ladies. Sign up at the Welcome Center today.
Advent Devotionals: You are welcome to pick up a copy of our Advent devotional series, written by Bob Whitaker and Dan Waugh. There is one devotional per week of Advent. Copies are available in the Gathering Space.
Advent Reading Challenge: Stop by the CCC library to learn more about our Advent reading challenge for both adults and children. Great books, craft kits and other prizes. Check out our large selection of Christmas and Advent books. Something for everyone!
Memorial Poinsettias: We invite you to purchase poinsettias in honor or in memory of loved ones, which will decorate our Sanctuary during Advent. Plants may be ordered using our online order form or at the Welcome Center. Please order by Weds., Dec. 14th.
Congregational Meeting: Members are encouraged to attend the annual December business meeting for the election of 2023 officers and approval of the 2023 Missions budget. The meeting will follow worship on Sunday, Dec. 11th. Copies of the slate of officers are available at the Welcome Center.
College Student Lunch: Students, don your best ugly Christmas sweater and hang around after worship on Dec. 11th for lunch and a service project.
November Energy Action: It’s time to begin pulling out quilts and sweaters in preparation for the cold days ahead. This month we are focused on trying to keep the thermostat low in order to save energy (and money!) The November Energy Action Sheet has helpful tips for easing into a lower temperature setting and ideas for low-energy heating options.
Faith+Art Book Club: Talking about faith and art over tea in a bookshop with friends —what could be lovelier? Join us monthly at 7pm at Morgenstern Books. We’ll explore the intersection of faith and art through captivating stories in both fiction and nonfiction. Our first title is Gilead by Marilynne Robinson.
