Community Nights: Our next Community Night will involve music, a devotional by a member of our congregation, and dessert. We had a great turnout for our kickoff last week–hope you’ll join us this Sunday at 6pm! Please sign up here if you’re willing to provide a dessert.

International Coffee Hour is starting up again on September 11 at 9:15am in Room 5. Internationals and Americans are welcome to socialize, have coffee and refreshments, and study the Bible together. For questions and further information, please contact John Lee or the church office.

Baked Goods for Cru: Help us give the IU students of Cru campus ministry a taste of home–sign up to provide baked goods or snacks for Cru’s fall retreat. Please sign up here and bring your goodies to the church no later than noon on Thursday, Sept. 22nd.

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) Join us Thursday, Sept. 15th at 1:30 pm in the Gathering Space for a very informative talk given by Dr. Jack Schmit, retired IU Asst. Dean of the Graduate School and now Warehouse Board President and volunteer. The Warehouse is a safe place for kids to recreate and learn in a God loving environment. Dr. Schmit will share ways we can help, volunteer, etc. there as he recognizes the wealth of wisdom and patience seniors can provide to our youth.

CCC Library Book Sale: Thank you for donating books to the church library book sale! Our librarians will take this week to organize the donations in preparation for the sale on Sept. 18th and 25th. Books will be sold for suggested prices of $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardbacks, but cash and check donations of any amount are welcome. Write “library sale” in the note line of any checks.

Elementary Kids’ Choir is starting again soon! Practices will be held 6:00-6:30pm in the chapel on Sunday nights, beginning September 11. If your child is interested in joining or if you have questions, contact Meredith Chupp or the church office.

Adult Choir: The CCC choir is open to new members! Get in touch with Brian Horne through our online contact form if you have interest in joining the choir. Rehearsals are weekly on Thursday evenings.

September Energy Action: Fall is a good time to make sure that you’ve sealed up the places in your home that might allow heat to escape and drive up your heating costs. Read the September information sheet to see how you might be able to save money and keep warm in the coming cooler and cold weather.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences; you don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. A group will meet in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, Aug. 17 – Nov. 9th. You are welcome to join anytime! Go to GriefShare.org/groups/150145 for more detailed information about the ministry or to register.

Small Groups: Interested in joining a small group? Check out the list of open groups!

Adult Community Groups (ACGs) meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are mid-sized learning communities. Check out the current topics on the ACG page and join a group!

Membership Class: Interested in learning more about our church and possibly becoming a member? Whether you desire to pursue membership or you’d just like to come for informational purposes, we invite you to attend the fall membership class which will meet in several parts over the following Sundays: Oct. 23rd, Oct. 30th, and Nov. 6th. To sign up, please message Lynne through our online contact form so that enough materials can be prepared.
