Lunch for College Students: Students, we’re so glad you’re back! We want to provide the opportunity for you to connect with other students, so we’re inviting you all to a pulled pork lunch following worship this Sunday, Aug. 28th. The food will be provided, so just come hang out!

Community Nights: Our first Sunday night Community Night is coming on Sept. 4th at 6pm! Once a month, that will include a meal after the service. We’re kicking off on the 4th with music, a Story of Grace, and a Taco Bar dinner after the service. If you plan to attend, would you consider helping to provide toppings? Use our signup form to let us know what you could bring.

International Coffee Hour is starting up again on September 11 at 9:15am in Room 5. Internationals and Americans are welcome to socialize, have coffee and refreshments, and study the Bible together. For questions and further information, please contact John Lee or contact the church office.

CCC Library Book Sale: The Church Library is hosting a Book Sale fundraiser September 18th and 25th. This fun event lets you donate books that you’re finished with and buy books that others have donated. Books of all genres are welcome, but we would especially love to receive donations of Christian literature, family-friendly secular genres, and children’s books. If you loved a particular book, chances are someone else will, too! To donate gently used books, please place them in the plastic bins in the library, between August 22nd and September 11th. Books will be sold for suggested prices of $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardbacks, but cash and check donations of any amount are welcome. Write “library sale” in the note line of checks.

Elementary Kids’ Choir is starting again soon! Practices will be held 6:00-6:30pm in the chapel on Sunday nights, beginning September 11. If your child is interested in joining or if you have questions, contact Meredith Chupp.

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): You’re invited to Picnic in the Park! Meet us at the Sycamore Shelter in Lower Cascades Park at 11:30am on Thursday, September 1 for a pitch-in picnic. Suggested donations: A-D dessert, E-S side dishes/salads, T-Z main dish. Grilled hot dogs will be on the menu!

September Energy Action: Fall is a good time to make sure that you’ve sealed up the places in your home that might allow heat to escape and drive up your heating costs. Read the September information sheet to see how you might be able to save money and keep warm in the coming cooler and cold weather.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences; you don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. A group will meet in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, Aug. 17 – Nov. 9th. You are welcome to join anytime! Go to GriefShare.org/groups/150145 for more detailed information about the ministry or to register.

Small Groups: Interested in joining a small group? Check out the list of open groups!

Adult Community Groups (ACGs) meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and are mid-sized learning communities. Groups are kicking off this Sunday! Check out the current topics on the ACG page and join a group!

Membership Class: Interested in learning more about our church and possibly becoming a member? Whether you desire to pursue membership or you’d just like to come for informational purposes, we invite you to attend the fall membership class which will begin on Sunday, Oct. 23rd. To sign up, please message Lynne through our online contact form so that enough materials can be prepared.
