Worship Night: Join us for a night of contemporary worship with Adam and the full worship team this Sunday, July 24th, at 6pm!

Serve Our Kids: Mindy Flick is seeking helpers to serve one hour a month during the school year in the early childhood (infant to Pre-K) rooms. If you could help, please call the church office or send Mindy a note using our online Contact form (select Mindy’s name under “I Want to Reach”).

All-Church Picnic and Swimming: Beat the summer heat with us on Saturday, August 6th! Join us for a picnic at church at 5:30pm and swimming at the Bryan Park Pool at 7:15pm. We’ve got the pool to ourselves, so feel free to invite friends!

Update Your Address Book: CCC staff emails ending in @eccbloomington.org will become defunct on Aug. 1st. Stay in touch–take a look at the back of your Sunday bulletin or contact the church office to make sure you have our current addresses in your email’s address book.

Baptismal Sunday: Baptisms have been scheduled during worship on July 31. If you are also interested in being baptized, please contact the church office to set up a time to talk with a pastor.

Meet Me at the Playground: This is a great friendship-building time for kids and moms alike! We’re back this summer 10am-noon on Thursdays, through July 28th. Everyone is welcome! In addition to the CCC playground, there is plenty of green space for adventurous big kids and a blanket area for equally adventurous but less mobile babies. *If you bring snacks or a picnic lunch, please make sure they are peanut free. *If you have any questions or would like to receive email reminders, please contact Stacy Gregory or the church office.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences; you don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. A group will meet in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm every Wednesday, Aug. 17 – Nov. 9th. Go to GriefShare.org/groups/150145 for more detailed information about the ministry.

July Energy Action: Driving wisely helps reduce the use of gas, and right now, helps save money! Did you know that, on average, each 5 mph that you drive over 50 mph is like paying an additional $.22 per gallon! And it’s probably more than that now that prices have gone up! Check out the July action sheet for more energy-saving tips.
