CCC Library
- Do you love books, especially Christian books? Please consider serving on the CCC Library Committee.
- Our church library could use a few people to help patrons on Sunday mornings. You would learn the simple self-check-out procedures and help people who are not yet familiar with them.
- Donations of gently used Christian fiction or non-fiction for adults and children are welcome. We are particularly interested in books published during the past five years. If you have purchased a Christian book recently that you are finished with, please consider donating it to the library. In addition, classics in good condition are welcome. Donations may be placed in the labeled Donation Collection Box in the library next to the door to Room 14/15.
- If you have questions or an interest in serving, please let us know through our Contact form.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) meets Thursday, May 5, at 1:30pm in the Gathering Space. Pastor John Mangrum will give a talk titled, “I Made the Widow’s Heart Sing.” Please join for a time of instruction, fellowship and snacks!
May Energy Action: Air Conditioning Who knows what kind of weather May will hold, but it’s a good time to start practicing NOT turning on the AC and finding ways to keep cool before adjusting the thermostat. Please read the May Action Sheet, which reminds us how much energy AC takes (and how it drives up our electric bill!)
Could You Help? Our early childhood rooms are packing full on Sunday mornings, and Mindy Flick would like to open up another room to relieve some of the pressure on our volunteers. Would you be willing to serve once a month to help make this possible? Please contact Mindy.
Southern Indiana 6K for Water: Did you know that 6 kilometers is the average distance people in the developing world walk for water each day? Sign up to walk or run the Southern Indiana 6K for Water on Saturday, May 21st, and you will be bringing life-changing, clean water to communities in need. Visit southernindiana6k.com to learn more and register. CCC Missions is helping to sponsor this event.
Summer Worship Schedule: Mark your calendars! Beginning on Sunday, May 22nd, we will gather all together for worship at 10:30am.
Congregational Meeting: Members, please plan to stay after worship on May 22nd for our annual spring business meeting, when the 2022-23 fiscal year general budget proposal will be submitted for approval.
