Register for 2022-23 Preschool Christ Community Preschool registration for the fall opens to CCC families and current students on Monday, January 31st, and to the public on Feb. 7th. To learn more, visit cccbloomington.org/preschool. Please help us spread the word! Open House Thursday, Feb. 10th, 6-8pm.

Energy Action – Food Waste: During February, we will focus on reducing our household food waste. Did you know that typical American households annually waste up to 30% of the food that they purchase? And that in the USA, approximately 15% of total energy use is just spent producing and then disposing of food? To learn what you can do to reduce waste, read the February Energy Action Sheet and attend our Zoom session at 7pm on February 9th.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. A group will meet 6-8pm in Rm. 17 every Wednesday, beginning Feb. 9th. Go to griefshare.org/groups/145144 for more detailed information.

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Join us Thursday, Feb. 3rd at 1:30pm! Elder Law attorney Paige Freitag will talk about the basic estate planning documents that all adults should have in place, including financial powers of attorney, health care advance directives, wills, and trusts. She will also address the basics of Medicaid planning for long-term care costs.

Make Baby Blankets for Hannah Center: Please join our blanket making! Sign out fleece from the table outside the children’s ministry office to take home, prep, and return by Feb. 20. Directions are on the table. We’d love for anyone to join elementary ministry families for our Hands Helping Hannah event on Sun., Feb 27, after the 11am service! We’ll eat lunch and tie baby blankets.  Please RSVP to Leah Wooden.

Men, Mark Your Calendars! We’re planning a men’s event for Saturday, Feb. 26, 5-7pm. More info to come.

Adult Community Groups (ACGs): Come learn with us–we’re looking at “Doctrines of Grace through the Hymns of the Church” and “New Testament Foundations”! Also, the women’s ACG is focusing on “Faith and Fellowship,” with a great lineup of ladies ready to share stories of God’s grace from their lives. Check out the updated ACG schedule.
