Middle School Girls Bible Study: Hey girls in grades 6-8! Come hang out, play games, and study God’s word together on Saturday, Sept. 25th, 3-5pm in the deWebers’ backyard! Girls are welcome to come to any or all of our meetings: Mark your calendars for 3-5pm on Saturdays, 9/25, 10/23, 11/20, and 12/11 this semester. Racial Equality Conversations: Join our church and community in a conversation! Learn more on this series from the informational flyer. If you missed a conversation, you can still watch the recording on our YouTube channel using these links:

1st conversation video: Joel Wong’s presentation on “Cultural Humility”
2nd conversation video: Marietta Simpson, Elan Rajamani, and Joel Wong shared some of their experiences.
3rd conversation livestream: Rescheduled; date TBD. Pastor Curtis Whittaker will share some of his story and about what his church in Gary, IN is doing to serve their community.
4th conversation: Sunday, Sept. 26, 3:00pm. Joel Wong will wrap up the series and facilitate conversations among those present.

Also, check out the Adult Community Group that is looking at the topic “Race and Racism” with Dan Waugh and Tim O’Connor. Meeting Sundays at 9:30am in Rm. 18.

Dante Reading Group: Dante’s The Divine Comedy is now 700 years old, but still relevant. A group out of Baylor University has initiated the world’s largest reading group for The Divine Comedy. Short weekly videos will be sent out and a group from church will meet once, maybe twice a month for discussion. If interested, sign up at the Welcome Center. Check out the promo video!

Adult Community Groups: ACGs provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, enjoy fellowship, and learn in community. This fall, we will offer one Sunday morning ACG at 9:30am and one at 11:00am. While the topics are different in each hour, most topics repeat at both hours during the course of the 2021-2022 year. See what’s coming up!

Seeking Employment in the Classroom? New Song Mission is seeking a lead teacher and a part-time tutor to serve on its 100-acre Brown County campus! Teaching at a children’s home has benefits well beyond traditional classroom instruction: low student-to-teacher ratios, integrating Christ into the classroom, and joining a close-knit team that provides highly personalized care to vulnerable kids are just a few. If you’re interested in joining their ministry team, please visit NewSongMission.org/employment.
