Lunch with a Missionary: You are invited to stay for lunch in Rm. 18 after worship on Sunday, Sept. 27th, to hear from June, a long-time CCC-sponsored missionary. June serves among a Native people group in Washington state.
BTown Worship Night: Join us and others in our community for a Night of Worship on Sunday, Sept. 27th, 6-8pm. Along with 15-20 area churches, we will gather at the amphitheater at Switchyard Park for worship. Food trucks will be onsite starting at 4:00pm. Parking at Bloomington High School South is encouraged so that those with mobility challenges can use the spaces at Switchyard. Shuttles will run between the school and the park beginning around 3:45pm.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Put on your red, white and blue and join the revolution! Come October 1st at 1:30PM to celebrate America’s 250th one more time. Douglas Rife will help us follow our road to revolution, the war years, our break with King George and the final dramatic battle at Yorktown, followed by the Constitutional Convention. Commemorate this special year with us.
Baked Goods for Cru: Help us give the college students of Cru campus ministry a taste of home by signing up to provide baked goods and snacks for IU Cru’s fall retreat. Please bring your goodies to the church no later than 10am on Friday, Oct. 2nd.
Keys for a Cause: CCC Kids invite you to Keys for a Cause on Sunday, Oct. 4th, at 3:30pm in the chapel. This is a kids’ performing arts recital and reading fundraiser for world missions. The proceeds will go to campus ministry staff, who kids are learning about in Underground. Please come and give as you are able!
Baptism: If you are interested in being baptized on Sunday, Oct. 11th, please use our online form to contact Lynne in the office to schedule time to talk with a pastor.
Women’s Event: Ladies of college age and older, please join us at 2pm on Saturday, Oct. 10th, for food, conversation, casual group games, and a devotional from Liz Yount. We’ll also unveil over a dozen fun mini-events and chances for connection with other CCC women! Please sign up.
The Pumpkin Trail: Have some fall fun at the Pumpkin Trail on Sunday, Oct. 11th! Helping hands are needed at church that afternoon to set up a pumpkin patch and hand out treats to the kids. Housemoot with Faith+Art Book Club—Fall 2026: This fall, the Faith+Art Book Club is partnering with The Rabbit Room’s Housemoot, a collection of lectures, readings, and discussions that explore faith, imagination, and the cultivation of truth, goodness, and beauty. If you’d like to join us, check out the schedule with meeting dates and reading information.
Crafting Calm: As a parent, it’s hard to juggle the needs of family without losing our own identities in the process. Come be yourself again at Crafting Calm, where parents of school-age children – from first-timers to seasoned veterans – can meet for unstructured time and a purpose other than our role as caretakers. Bring your own craft project, or don’t; we are a community for YOU. Meets Wednesdays during the school year, from 9:30am to noon in Room 15.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. A group meets weekly on Wednesdays in Rm. 17 from 6 to 8pm, through Nov. 4th. You can sign up at griefshare.org.
