Commitment to Christ

By completing this application, you affirm the following: I believe that I was created in the image of God, and that my subsequent willful sin resulted in physical and spiritual death and in the necessity of a new birth for salvation. I believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for my salvation. I believe that my salvation is by God’s grace alone, complete and eternal; and that only as I have received this gift of God through personal faith in Christ am I born of the Holy Spirit and made a child of God. Membership Commitment

Having been born again through saving faith in Jesus Christ, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite myself with the CCC family. In so doing, I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

I will seek to glorify God by seeking to grow in my commitment to Him, to the Body of Christ at CCC, and to the world through my individual and corporate worship, outreach, relationships, and discipleship. (CCC Constitution, Article II)
I unite with the others in the church in affirming the Statement of Faith of CCC. (CCC Constitution, Article V)
I accept the responsibilities of membership, and by God’s grace, I will seek to be more like Christ in my relationships with God, with my family, and with others in this church. (CCC Constitution, Article IV)
