Donations of good-condition furniture and household items are now being accepted at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. To see what can be donated or to schedule a furniture pickup, please visit myfga.org. At CCC, we are collecting household items! A list can be found at the Welcome Center.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM): Summer Lunches: Let’s meet at Mother Bear’s West, men and women (we’ll have separate tables), on Thursday, June 19, at 11:30am. Please RSVP to Nancy Wooden. Future lunches will be July 10th and August 7th. Bring your appetite!
Food Truck Friday: Join CCC members at the June 20th Food Truck Friday at Switchyard Park! These community events, hosted by Bloomington Parks & Rec, are great ways to support local food trucks while connecting with both our church family and our neighbors. Look for church leadership in green CCC shirts starting at about 5pm. We would love to see you there!
CCC T-Shirts: Purchase your own CCC t-shirt! To choose your sizes and pay for your shirts, visit christcommunitychurch.itemorder.com/shop/home. Online ordering will remain open until June 29. After that, the shirts will be printed locally. We will contact you when your order is ready for pickup at the church.
Freedom Sings: Celebrate Juneteenth with a soul-stirring gospel concert featuring Jeanelle Ogunsemore and friends. Join us at church on Sunday, June 22nd, at 6pm for an inspiring evening of joy, unity, and freedom through music.
CCC Library Summer Reading Challenge: Join our Summer Reading Challenge for all ages! Our theme this year is “Created to Create” – we will explore books about art and music. Stop by to pick up your reading challenge sheet and some treats, and check out our selection of books on art, music, God’s creation and creativity!
