Youth Pastor
Deontè grew up in Baltimore, MD and is a graduate of Duke Divinity school in Durham, NC. Before arriving in Bloomington, he worked in campus ministry in North Carolina for two years and co-led a youth basketball ministry for three years. Deontè is a die-hard Cameron Crazie, but, having joined the CCC staff in 2022, is open to becoming a Hoosier (we are still working on that).
In his spare time, Deontè likes to play basketball, binge watch TV shows, lift weights, watch football, hang with friends, and watch college basketball. His goal in ministry is to inspire and encourage people to build an authentic relationship with God through prayer and teaching.
