“The Lord Has Need of It”
Jesus was preparing to enter Jerusalem, and whatever needed to be done was done. There was need, and other things took a back seat. What does this mean in the light of my life? How does this apply to me? I need to remember that my life is not my own. I am in the service of the Lord. I may not have any idea of why I am called to do something or what of mine God wants to use, but my response should always be, “Because the Lord has need of it.” Whatever God is calling you to go or to give up for His use, give it up. You will never know what God is going to do or how He is going to do it, through you and what you have given. Release what God needs of you, whether it be time, talent, or money. We must have the willingness to follow God just because He has need of it.
