Camp Reunion: The whole church is invited to the Camp Reunion, a special service at 6pm on Sunday, June 7th. Experience the joy of Preo and Camp O through songs, pictures, cabin skits, and the kids’ energy!
Book Break: At 10:30am on Thursdays this summer (June 11-July 16), Gail O’Connor and team will host Story Time with crafts for kids 6th grade & under. Kids will be separated into age groups during story time. Parents will hop into room 18 for Fellowship and to hear a fellow parent briefly share about a book that has impacted them.
Time will given at the end of the hour to check out books from our library or hang out in the Gathering Space with board games.
Food Truck Friday: On June 12th, 5-8pm, join CCC members at Food Truck Friday at Switchyard Park! These community events, hosted by Bloomington Parks & Rec Department, are great ways to support local food trucks while connecting with both our church family and our neighbors. Look for church leadership in CCC shirts starting around 5:00pm. We would love to see you there!
CCC Library Book Sale: Our church library will have a book sale on June 14 & 21 in the Gathering Space. All proceeds will go towards purchasing new books for our library.
Visiting Missionaries: Please join us for lunch after worship on June 14th to welcome and hear from Will and Lydia, two adult children of long-time CCC-sponsored missionaries, who also have a deep heart to serve God overseas.
Confirmation and Formation Class: This class for high school students (including rising freshmen) begins June 17th. The class will explore what it means to publicly profess faith in Christ and consider what their baptism means for ongoing discipleship. This class is open to all who have been baptized, whether as infants or young children, and want to affirm their faith, as well as those who have not been baptized and are preparing for baptism. Please sign up if you (or your student) are interested in participating.
Go Further for Clean Water: You’re invited to train for the 2026 Indy Monumental Marathon & Half Marathon with others from CCC through Team World Vision. Every mile you train and dollar you raise helps to bring hope and life-changing clean water to children and families in need around the world! To sign up, go to teamworldvision.org/teams/39969. Furniture Give-Away (FGA) 2026: The annual Bloomington International Student Ministries’ Furniture Give-Away would gladly take donations of good-condition furniture and household goods. Please visit myfga.org to learn what items are accepted or volunteer. (Stay tuned for info on donating household goods to CCC’s FGA day; we are not ready to accept these yet.)
CCC T-Shirts: CCC shirts are again available to order! You can choose your sizes and pay for your shirts at christcommunitychurch.itemorder.com/shop/home. Ladies, Taco Bingo shirts are also available! Shirts can be shipped or picked up locally at FreeThink (720 S. Morton St.).
